About James M. Kent CPA

I am a one person Certified Public Accounting firm with over twenty-five years experience in almost all aspects of small business accounting and tax services.  After graduating summa cum laude from the University of Texas at Dallas, I worked as a tax manager in public accounting and as a corporate Controller in several different types of businesses.  Capitalizing on this diverse tax and business accounting experience, I started my own CPA firm.  

I maintain a virtual office located in a small town in eastern Tennessee and provide services to clients located all over the United States. Since I don't have a fancy physical office location, pay for support staff, or wear thousand dollar suits, I am able to offer the highest quality CPA services at substantially reduced rates.
